MP9 front hub carrier bushing kit

This Kyosho IF421-01 front hub carrier bush set is a direct replacement part intended for use on the MP9 chassis. It replaces worn bushings in the front hub carrier to restore the designed clearance and movement between the hub carrier and steering linkages without altering chassis geometry.

Compatibility: intended for MP9 series hub carriers. The kit replaces the bushings that locate the hub carrier on the front suspension carriers and is commonly used during scheduled maintenance or when correcting play in the front end.

Installation notes: removing the front hub carrier from the suspension arm is normally required to reach the bushings; basic tools such as hex drivers and pliers are typically sufficient. Preserve any original shims or washers and verify alignment after reassembly; confirm free hub rotation and consistent steering movement before running the car.

Tuning role: replacing worn bushings reduces play and restores steering feedback for improved repeatability. This part maintains handling consistency rather than serving as a setup change to alter suspension geometry.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
In most cases you detach the carrier from the suspension arm and remove retaining screws or pins. Work carefully to avoid disturbing bearings and note the position of any shims before removal.
Basic workshop tools such as hex drivers and pliers are generally enough. Take care when handling bearings and housing surfaces to prevent damage during disassembly and reassembly.
Fitting fresh bushings reduces unwanted play and restores consistent steering feedback, improving repeatability without changing the vehicle's suspension geometry.
