MP10 Reinforcement Brace Overview

The Kyosho IF618B Chassis Brace Set is an RC-scale reinforcement part designed to work with the MP10 chassis platform. It adds stiffness along the central rail and lets drivers tune chassis flex without altering major suspension components.

Compatibility is confined to the MP10 chassis family, so check your layout against MP10 mounting points before purchasing. The brace fastens to the factory attachment holes; no drilling is needed for standard MP10 setups.

Fitting the brace is straightforward: remove the body shell and any existing top plate, position the brace over the factory holes, then secure it using the stock chassis hardware. Tighten in small increments and verify drivetrain and suspension clearance after the first run. Recheck fastener torque after initial track sessions.

Viewed as a tuning aid rather than an outright performance upgrade, the brace reduces chassis twist and changes how the car transfers weight. Use it to stabilise turn-in and increase rear traction on high-grip surfaces, or remove it to restore extra steering and compliance on looser tracks.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Basic hand tools are enough: small hex drivers or screwdrivers to remove the body and top plate, and the stock chassis hardware is reused to fit the brace.
If your car has an aftermarket top plate, remove it first; for standard MP10 layouts you typically align the brace to the existing holes and refit the top plate as required.
Start with a moderate torque and tighten evenly. After the first short session, retorque the fasteners and confirm there is no binding in the drivetrain or suspension.
Check battery, ESC and servo clearances when the brace is in place; standard MP10 fits should not require relocation but verifying clearance is recommended.
