1966 VW Beetle Mini-Z clear shell

This Kyosho MZN240 is an unpainted clear Mini-Z scale body modelled on the 1966 VW Beetle and supplied with matching rims. It arrives as a blank shell ready for trimming and decoration rather than a finished display item.

The shell is built around Mini-Z series mounting geometry. Expect to trim body tabs and wheel arches to suit your specific Mini-Z variant and chosen wheels; small fit tweaks are common when fitting bodies to different chassis or wheel offsets.

Fitment tip: test-fit the body on your Mini-Z chassis before committing to cuts, mark mounting and clearance points, and secure with body clips or the chassis's stock mounts as provided for Mini-Z. For painting and decals, use products formulated for RC clear bodies to keep detail and flexibility.

As a scale-focused body shell, this set is intended for appearance upgrades and basic chassis setup on Mini-Z builds, offering a clean base for painting, decals, and wheel/stance adjustments.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for Mini-Z series chassis but some variants can need minor trimming of tabs or arches to clear tyres and match wheel offset on your particular Mini-Z model.
Rims are included with the set. Verify centre bore and offset against your wheel/wheel hex setup to ensure correct fit before final assembly.
No. The shell is unpainted white and intended for finishing by the modeller using paints and decals suited to RC clear bodies.
Use paint and adhesives made for clear polycarbonate bodies, apply light coats, allow full cure between layers, and test decals on spare material to confirm adhesion and appearance.
