Mini-Z MR-04 roll damper overview

The Kyosho MZW715 roll damper set is an RC-scale replacement hop-up designed specifically for Mini-Z MR-04 machines, listed for MR-04/MZW714-LM/MM compatibility. It targets roll behaviour control so you can tune chassis balance without altering core suspension geometry.

Compatibility is restricted to the stated Mini-Z MR-04 variants; fit only to MR-04 based chassis. The set functions as a tuning item to change roll response through corners, permitting finer control of body roll rate and transient stability for circuit runs.

Installation overview: remove the stock rear roll components from the MR-04 rear assembly, fit the MZW715 parts following the chassis manufacturer’s standard disassembly steps, then check clearance and screw torque. No bodywork modifications are required and common RC hand tools (hex driver, small pliers) are sufficient.

Tuning role: employ the MZW715 to control how quickly the car leans into and recovers from a corner. Begin with conservative settings, run short test laps, and adjust gradually to reach the desired compromise between mid-corner stability and corner-exit traction. Combine roll-damper tweaks with tyre selection and ride height adjustments for predictable handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The MZW715 is intended for MR-04 and MZW714-LM/MM variants only. Do not fit it to unrelated Mini-Z frames to avoid clearance or fitment problems.
You only need standard RC tools such as a small hex driver and pliers. No specialised equipment is necessary for installation.
Start with mild settings and perform a few short runs, then incrementally increase damping until the car reaches the balance you want between mid-corner grip and corner-exit traction.
