Precision pillow ball for Mini-Z Buggy

This pillow ball set is an RC-scale replacement part designed for Mini-Z Buggy platforms. It creates a compact ball-joint link between suspension arms and steering linkages to retain articulation while cutting slop that can reduce precision on small-wheel off-road tracks.

Compatibility is limited to Mini-Z Buggy configurations, so verify your chassis type before ordering. The part replaces conventional pivot or clevis connections where a pillow ball joint is fitted to enhance the repeatability of suspension travel and steering inputs.

Installation notes: remove the factory linkage hardware and press the pillow balls into the prepared hubs or link ends provided by the chassis, using the original screw locations. Check full-travel articulation, avoid over-tightening which can bind the joint, and make sure there is no contact with adjacent parts during suspension compression.

Tuning role: pillow ball joints alter the pivot center and can produce crisper steering feedback with steadier camber response under load. Fit them when dialing in steering feel or when eliminating play at the steering knuckle and suspension connection points. Also revise roll center, damper settings, and toe to suit the changed pivot characteristics.

This set is intended for Mini-Z Buggy style layouts only. Confirm that your chassis uses pillow ball style linkages or has compatible mount points before fitting.
Basic Mini-Z maintenance tools are sufficient: small screwdrivers and the correct driver for the fasteners. Trial-fit components before final torque to avoid binding.
Expect sharper steering feedback and reduced joint play. They are one part of a setup change, so adjust dampers and geometry alongside to reach the desired handling balance.
Inspect periodically for wear and smooth motion, clear any debris, and ensure screws remain tight to preserve consistent joint action.
