This 16-tooth pinion, model MG216T/0.5M, is made for motors that use a 0.5mm module and have a 2.2mm motor tooth diameter. Machined from 40Cr steel with a hardened black finish, the part is intended to increase wear resistance while maintaining stable power transfer in small-scale RC drive trains.
The pinion uses a round motor bore and is secured by two 3x3 set screws that clamp to compatible motor shafts. Always check your motor's module and pinion diameter before fitting to ensure correct mesh and safe operation.
As a replacement or spare during maintenance, this pinion helps preserve mesh geometry and can reduce premature tooth wear when paired with correctly matched spur gears and motor setups. It is designed for model-grade RC motor assemblies only.
