Steel main plate for MS2.0

This steel main chassis is a direct accessory for the Master Speed MS2.0 platform and is intended as a scale RC main chassis component only. The part uses steel as its primary material, which increases mass compared with typical alloy or composite plates and shifts mounting points lower on the chassis plate to reduce the vehicle's center of gravity.

Lowered fixing positions change the suspension and body clearance relationships; when installing, verify screw alignment and make incremental checks on ride height and droop. Expect adjustments to spring preload, anti-roll tuning, and body mounting to suit the new mass distribution rather than changes to electronics or drive components.

Specifications

  • Item Main chassis
  • Material Steel
  • Model Number MS-002S-2

Use this chassis when you need a heavier, lower-mounted steel plate to influence balance and roll characteristics on track; confirm clearances and re-tune suspension settings after fitment.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for MS2.0 variants that accept the MSR-020 family of plates; confirm your chassis mounting pattern matches MSR-020S, MSR-020, or MSR-020A before attempting to fit it.
The added mass and lowered mounting points lower the overall center of gravity, which can reduce body roll and alter weight transfer; you will likely need to retune spring rates and anti-roll settings to capitalise on the new balance.
No special proprietary parts are listed, but check that your existing fasteners and spacers line up with the lowered holes; replace any worn or undersized screws to ensure a secure fit.
Most electronics and servo mounts remain compatible, though you should verify vertical clearance for the ESC, motor, and servo after fitting because the chassis sits lower.
