Precision Aluminum Diff Height Adapter (L and R)

This MD-DHA-3 set is a machined aluminum left and right adapter for the Master Drift MD3.0 platform, intended for 1/10 drift chassis where small differential height shifts tune handling and rear traction.

The adapters suit the MDR-030 family and replace or augment stock diff mounts to alter differential case height. Machined aluminum offers a firmer mounting surface that resists compression compared with softer materials.

Installation is straightforward for experienced tuners: remove the differential from the chassis, fit the left and right adapter pieces to the diff housing or chassis mounting points as required, and secure using the original mounting hardware. Verify chassis geometry after fitting and re-check fastener torque following a short test run.

On-track tuning note: changing diff height alters driveline angle and can subtly influence steering response and rear traction; test one variable at a time and record results for consistent comparisons.

If you plan iterative setup changes, keep a log of diff height positions and lap feedback; the MD-DHA-3 lets you make repeatable adjustments without altering the diff internals.

Remove the differential from the chassis, position the left and right adapter pieces on the diff housing or chassis mounts, then reattach using the original screws. Confirm alignment and run a short test before final torque checks.
Typically the MD-DHA-3 uses the factory mounting hardware. Inspect screws and threaded inserts for wear and replace only if damaged; bearings are not normally replaced solely for this adapter fitment.
Small height changes shift driveline angles and load transfer, which can affect steering feel and throttle grip. Make incremental changes and compare telemetry or lap notes to find the desired balance.
