This graphite front shock tower is a direct replacement hop-up for the Tamiya M07 chassis, offered under model M07-09. The part gives a firmer mounting point for the front shocks to reduce tower flex and help maintain consistent suspension geometry during tuning sessions and on-track changes.
Fitting is straightforward if you are familiar with M07 service: the tower attaches to the front bulkhead using the chassis original mount points and screws. Check shock alignment and screw lengths during installation to avoid binding the shock shafts; small differences in tower thickness or pick-up position can change ride height and steering feel, so re-check preload and droop after installation.
From a tuning perspective the graphite tower increases front-end rigidity and alters how loads are passed into the suspension. It is handy when you need a firmer shock mount to limit flex under heavy braking or tight cornering, and should be used alongside spring selection, shock oil and anti-roll bar adjustments for a balanced setup.
