Compact urethane bumper for 1/10 on-road use

A black urethane bumper made as a direct replacement for 1/10 scale RC cars where flexibility and impact damping are required. The Kyosho VZ022BK balances elasticity with shape retention to shield body shells and chassis mounting points during everyday running and setup changes.

Designed for common bolt-on bumper mounts found on touring and on-road 1/10 chassis; verify the hole pattern and mounting hardware for correct fit before final installation. Its flexible profile helps prevent small hits from stressing body clips and mounting tabs while keeping a low silhouette for tight setups.

  • Material: Urethane (black)
  • Part type: Replacement bumper, low-profile
  • Compatibility: Fits many 1/10 on-road and touring chassis with standard bolt-on bumper mounts
  • Notes: Replaces older part VZ022BL

Fitting and care advice

Always test-fit the bumper and align mounting holes before tightening fasteners. Tighten screws in small steps to avoid stressing tabs. After dusty or gritty runs rinse the bumper and dry it, and inspect around mounting holes for splits. Replace if torn or permanently warped to keep safe mounting geometry.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Most standard small machine screws used on 1/10 bumper mounts will fit; reuse your chassis fasteners when possible and check length to avoid protruding into internal components.
Yes. The low-profile shape and urethane flex are well suited to both drift and touring setups where minor impacts should be absorbed without passing force to the body shell.
Rinse off dirt, dry the bumper, then inspect mounting holes and edges for splits or permanent deformation. If you see tearing or major warping, replace the bumper.
