This Yokomo YOKD154-15 rod end adapter is an aluminium accessory made to attach to lower A-arms that mate with a narrow steering block, supplied as part of drift pack components.
In drift builds it replaces or extends the ball end to a 15mm reach, enabling precise toe and roll-centre adjustments while leaving the arm geometry intact. Use this part where narrow steering blocks need a specific rod end offset.
Installation is simple for experienced builders: remove the stock ball end on the lower A-arm linkage, install the adapter on the rod or linkage, and fasten with the appropriate screw or nut that your chassis uses. After fitting check full steering lock and suspension movement, and look for any binding at extreme travel.
Tuning tip: employ the adapter to make small static toe changes and slight roll-centre shifts during setup, then re-check wheel alignment. Incremental changes will show measurable differences on 1/10 scale drift cars, so test progressively.
