Front crash fixing pin

This RC-scale front crash fixing pin fits the LOSI PROMOTO-MX mounting points and is supplied as part number MX088/PIN. The part is made from medium carbon steel with a hardened black surface finish to withstand abrasion and repeated impact typical of dirt bike use.

The replacement pin takes the place of the factory front crash fixing point and ships with one Grade 12.9 black round head screw 4x12 for secure attachment. Installation needs basic disassembly of the front crash assembly and common hex tools; confirm alignment and screw engagement before running the model.

For routine care, check the pin and screw for bending or wear after heavy landings, re-torque the fastener to maintain alignment, and apply thread-lock when longer term stability is required. This accessory is intended to improve front-end crash durability and is not a full vehicle repair component.

The MX088/PIN is formed from medium carbon steel with a hardened black surface treatment to improve wear resistance for front-end impacts on RC dirt bikes.
Basic hex drivers are required to remove the crash assembly and fit the Grade 12.9 4x12 screw supplied with the pin.
Using a medium-strength thread-lock is recommended for long-term stability, but check torque regularly after heavy use or hard landings.
