This aluminum steering holder is an aftermarket upgrade for the Team Losi Promoto-MX motorcycle scale model. It replaces the stock plastic mount with a stiffer mounting point for the servo linkage on Promoto-MX chassis layouts.
Compatibility is limited to Promoto-MX scale motorcycle models referenced in the product title and intended for RC dirt bike use where improved steering feedback and reduced flex are desired. This is an RC accessory and not intended for real vehicles.
Installation is straightforward for an experienced modeller: remove the stock holder, position the aluminum unit to match the servo and steering linkage, and fasten using the model's original screws. After fitting, verify servo horn alignment and steering endplay, and make minor geometry tweaks if neutral steering shifts.
Tuning note: a firmer, aluminum steering mount reduces steering system play and can make servo response more predictable during hard acceleration and suspension movement. It works well when paired with higher-torque servos or when adjusting steering travel and endpoints.
