Heavy-duty differential housing for LOSI LMT

This is a replacement differential housing designed specifically for LOSI LMT solid axle monster truck platforms. The outer shell is medium carbon steel to increase strength and wear resistance, while the centre section is CNC-friendly 7075 aluminium to reduce rotating mass where the unit mounts in the axle assembly. A rubber sealing ring is supplied to help keep oil and contaminants out of the case.

Functionally the case locates and protects the internal bevel gears in the front, centre and rear assemblies, keeping gear alignment under load and giving a firmer mounting compared to stock plastic housings. That added stiffness helps maintain predictable gear behaviour under hard acceleration and on rough terrain.

Installation notes: the pack contains the necessary fasteners and aluminium shims to fit the housing into the axle or centre gearbox and to refit the internal gears. After assembly verify gear lash and bearing endplay, and use the supplied shims to correct mesh and preload as needed.
