Adjuster Nut Seal for L.F Pro Shock

This small RC damper component is made to work with L.F Pro Shock assemblies, sitting beneath the adjuster nut to preserve seal integrity and keep the adjuster correctly positioned. It is an accessory for model dampers and is not intended for full-size vehicles.

In service the O-ring helps maintain seating for the adjuster nut and supports the damper seal, which reduces oil loss and ingress of dirt. That stability makes preload and damping settings more repeatable when you are tuning the shock.

Basic installation is straightforward: take off the adjuster nut, place the O-ring in the correct seating on the adjuster shaft or in the shock cap as required by your shock design, then replace the nut taking care not to pinch the ring. Regularly inspect it for cuts, flattening, or hardening and replace if the seal is compromised.

Practical tips: apply a light coating of silicone grease that is compatible with your shock oil to ease fitting and prevent swelling, avoid over-tightening the adjuster nut to prevent deformation, and check for leaks after a short test run to confirm proper sealing.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This O-ring is intended for the adjuster nut position on L.F Pro Shock damper assemblies to act as a seating and sealing element.
Use a minimal smear of compatible silicone grease, slide the ring into place gently, then thread the adjuster nut down carefully to avoid pinching or rolling the O-ring.
Replace the O-ring if you spot cuts, flattened areas, or persistent oil seepage around the adjuster nut during routine maintenance checks.
