Center Shaft Upgrade for LAZER ZX7.5

The Kyosho LAW84 center shaft is a 57.5mm 7075 aluminum replacement made to fit the LAZER ZX7.5 platform. It is manufactured as an aftermarket driveline shaft to replace the stock center piece while keeping chassis geometry intact.

For installation you will need access to the centre differential area and basic drivetrain disassembly; remove the original shaft carefully, check bearing condition, and refit the LAW84 while confirming axial clearance to avoid binding. Use light lubrication on mating surfaces and rotate the assembly by hand to confirm smooth operation before full reassembly.

During setup the shaft gives a stable, lightweight option for service and iterative adjustments, letting you validate center alignment and rotational feel as you tune the vehicle for on-track performance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Release the center differential housing, remove any retaining clips or screws, withdraw the original shaft, and verify no gears or spacers were left inside the housing before fitting the LAW84.
No specialist tools are required beyond common RC service tools; basic screwdrivers, pliers for clips, and a torque driver for clamp screws will be sufficient. A thin feeler gauge helps verify axial clearance.
Inspect bearings for pitting or play; if wear is evident, replace them during the install to ensure smooth rotation and prevent premature wear of the new LAW84 shaft.
Reassemble the drive components, rotate the driveline by hand and observe for smooth, even motion. If resistance is felt, disassemble and verify alignment and bearing seating before retesting.
