Center differential housing for LAZER ZX7.5

This RC-scale center differential gear case set is manufactured to fit the LAZER ZX7.5 chassis. The assembly replaces the existing center diff housing, secures the internal gears, and helps keep correct gear mesh and alignment through the drivetrain.

Function and purpose: the case locates bearings and shafts, retains the center differential components, and provides the mounting features that set preload and alignment. Replacing the case is a routine repair after impacts or when changing setup for different track conditions.

Installation guidance: check fit against the current center diff and gearbox halves before final assembly, clean mating surfaces and bearings, then verify gear mesh and backlash after installation. Avoid trimming adjacent parts unless you are following LAZER ZX7.5 service guidance.

Tuning notes: fitting a new case can alter differential alignment and the way diff oil and preload behave. After installation, confirm the differential spins freely and that there is no binding under drive before running the car.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Verify your chassis code on the car; this case is specified for LAZER ZX7.5 platforms and should be matched to the model identifier before purchase.
Inspect bearings for play and wear. Worn bearings can cause improper preload and uneven gear mesh, so replace any suspect bearings to ensure smooth diff operation.
Yes. The case defines mounting points and alignment, so you must recheck diff oil, preload, and backlash as part of the post-install setup process.
Basic RC hand tools and a tidy bench are sufficient. Use the correct hex drivers and tighten fasteners with care to avoid distorting the case or misaligning gears.
