Track-Focused Upgrade for V-One R4 Evo

RC racers wanting a lighter drivetrain option for their V-One R4 Evo will find the Kyosho VZ470 an effective upgrade. This precision middle shaft reduces rotating mass while keeping strength, helping deliver crisper acceleration and steadier handling on race circuits.

Precision Engineering for Balanced Response

The Kyosho VZ470 middle shaft is machined to tight tolerances to ensure long service life and consistent performance. By trimming weight from the centre of the drivetrain, it improves throttle response and agility without sacrificing reliability. Installation fits the V-One R4 Evo line for a direct swap.

Why Swap to a Lightweight Middle Shaft

  • Reduced Rotational Weight: Lower mass in the drivetrain improves acceleration out of corners.
  • Sharper Handling: Better balance helps the chassis turn more predictably at speed.
  • Robust Build: Engineered to cope with racing stresses while staying light.
  • Simple Fitment: Direct replacement for V-One R4 Evo models to keep upgrades quick.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This shaft is intended for the V-One R4 Evo series. Older V-One versions may use different dimensions, so check your chassis parts list before ordering.
Standard drivetrain bearings work fine with this shaft. Use light synthetic grease or oil on slip surfaces and inspect bearings during fitment for smooth operation.
The main improvement is in acceleration feel and responsiveness rather than a large top speed gain. Reduced rotating weight helps corner exits and throttle response.
