Steering upgrade for Kyosho TF217

If you want crisper steering and longer-lasting components, the Kyosho TF217 Aluminum Steering Crank Wiper is a practical upgrade for TF6 chassis owners. Its machined aluminum build replaces softer parts to give a firmer, more consistent connection at the servo end.

Sharper steering feel

The Kyosho TF217 uses aluminum to deliver a rigid pivot that reduces flex under load. That stability translates to more predictable steering inputs and improved response on technical tracks and tight courses.

Fitment and simple install

Made for the TF6 family, the TF217 is engineered to sit into the stock steering geometry without major changes. Installation is straightforward for hobbyists familiar with basic disassembly and fastener work.

Benefits of aluminum parts

Aluminum is preferred by many racers because it stands up to repeated impacts and contact better than molded plastic. The TF217 helps lower long term wear and keeps steering linkage play to a minimum over many runs.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The TF217 is designed for the TF6 chassis. It might fit similar Kyosho layouts, but check the mounting points and link lengths before assuming compatibility.
Basic hand tools like screwdrivers and hex drivers are sufficient. Keep fasteners tight and verify steering travel and centering after installation.
Wipe dirt and grit from mating surfaces and inspect for burrs after hard impacts. Light lubrication on pivots helps smooth movement without attracting excessive grime.
