This alloy rear hub carrier is made for the Kyosho Optima 2016 chassis and carries the JR-OT13 model reference. It replaces the stock rear hub carrier to provide a firmer mounting point for the rear suspension and wheel hub while preserving the Optima 2016 fitment and geometry.
Fitting follows the standard rear hub carrier removal and refit process used on 1/10 4WD buggies, using the vehicle's existing mounting points and fasteners. Make sure the rear axle, wheel hex and hub interfaces are clean and that any removed screws are reinstalled with correct engagement. Typical RC tools such as a hex driver are all that are required.
From a handling viewpoint, an aluminum rear carrier reduces hub-area flex for more consistent suspension action during cornering and under throttle. When you change rear roll or anti-squat settings, verify the carrier lines up with your chosen shock positions and toe inserts to keep handling predictable.
