Low-profile guard for the MP10

This side guard is an RC-scale replacement part designed specifically for the Kyosho MP10 chassis. The reworked profile cuts thickness and overall height to remove about 18g versus the original part while tapering from the chassis center toward the rear to clear the body and eliminate excess material.

In use the guard preserves the chassis edge silhouette while lowering mass and reducing potential shell interference. For setup it gives a small weight reduction at the chassis flank and helps keep consistent clearance between the body and suspension travel, which can aid balance and handling on smooth surfaces.

Fitting reuses the MP10 side guard mounting points and hardware; align the guard to the chassis flange, tighten fasteners evenly, and avoid over-torquing which can warp the part. After installation check body alignment and make small adjustments if the shell contacts the new profile.

Remark :

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The IF614B reduces the side guard mass by about 18g compared with the original component, providing a modest reduction in overall chassis weight.
No extra parts are needed; the design is intended for direct fit to the existing MP10 mounting points using the chassis hardware already in place.
Yes, the narrowed rear section increases clearance toward the back of the chassis, reducing chances of the body contacting suspension travel under load.
Line the guard to the flange, tighten screws in stages and check fitment with the shell mounted before final torque to avoid bending the guard.
