Aluminium mono shock upgrade for Mini-Z MR-02

This aluminium mono shock is a compact suspension upgrade for the Kyosho Mini-Z MR-02 (MM) and MR-015 chassis, finished in blue anodize. It is supplied as a direct-fit replacement for the stock mono shock, designed to deliver consistent damper response and a durable aluminium chassis component suited to frequent setup changes on the track.

Fitting is straightforward for experienced Mini-Z tuners: remove the original shock from the MR-02 or MR-015 mounting points, transfer any springs or internal parts you plan to reuse, then refit using the chassis fasteners. Use standard RC tools, verify travel and alignment, and apply threadlocker to fasteners for regular circuit use.

As a tuning platform the unit accepts common spring, oil, and preload changes that affect small-scale pitch and roll behaviour. Make incremental adjustments to spring rate and damper oil, testing between runs to dial handling. The aluminium body gives a repeatable mounting reference for consistent setup on practice sessions.
