This KZ-01B/WO graphite upper plate is an optional replacement designed for Kyosho Mini-Z MR-015 machines. It installs as a direct-fit upper deck for the KZ-01/BU/WO chassis family, keeping the original mounting footprint while changing torsional stiffness and mass distribution where fitted.

Installation is simple: the plate replaces the stock upper plate and uses the chassis existing screw positions, so follow standard Mini-Z assembly procedures. Check screw lengths and clearances before final tightening to avoid contact with internal parts such as the motor or electronics. No special tools beyond normal Mini-Z maintenance tools are required.

As a tuning component, the graphite increases torsional rigidity compared with thinner plastic decks, which shifts setup focus toward suspension tuning and weight placement. Fit the plate, test handling on a stable surface, then adjust springs, dampers, or ballast incrementally to reach the desired handling balance.
