Fitting is straightforward for anyone comfortable with front-end teardown: remove the original linkage from the front gearbox and steering horn, re-use any spacers or bearings you have, then secure the graphite plate with the supplied screws and lock nut. Tighten fasteners enough to eliminate play but take care not to over-torque composite parts.

From a setup view, fitting a graphite linkage plate reduces compliance between gearbox and steering, sharpening turn-in and improving self-centering feel. Expect a firmer steering action compared with stock plastic brackets and make small step changes to end-point and toe settings to tune balance.
