This aluminium heatsink is a bolt-on accessory designed for the Kyosho Mini Inferno speed control area and compatible ESC housings. The purple woven finish describes the exterior look, and the unit sits over the speed control casing to increase passive heat dispersion during running and bench tuning.
Fitting is straightforward for experienced modellers: align the heatsink so it makes even contact with the speed control surface, use the existing mounting points and original fasteners from the Mini Inferno speed control assembly, and check for clearance with nearby wiring and the motor gear mesh. If screws are tight, use the correct hex driver and apply gentle torque to avoid stripping threads.
From a tuning perspective, the heatsink raises exposed surface area to improve air cooling and help stabilise ESC temperature under load. It works alongside good ventilation and ambient cooling and is not a replacement for an active fan setup when extreme cooling is required.
