Low profile alloy sink for Mini Inferno ESCs

This aluminium alloy heat sink is an aftermarket cooling accessory for the Kyosho Mini Inferno platform, supplied as a single piece. It is made to sit on or beside a Mini Inferno speed controller to improve heat transfer and reduce steady temperature rise during extended track runs or practice sessions.

Installation is simple for hobbyists familiar with basic maintenance: position the sink against the ESC body or fin stack, fasten using the supplied screw into an ESC mounting point or chassis tie location, and verify it does not contact motor leads or moving components. This item is intended for model use only and not for full-size vehicles.

From a setup view, fitting a shallow alloy sink can stabilise ESC temperature under repeated heavy throttle cycles, helping to maintain consistent timing and braking response in hot conditions. After fitting, monitor ESC temperatures over a few runs and tweak airflow or position if you need better cooling results.

It is sized for the Mini Inferno ESC area, but variations exist between ESC brands. Check the physical clearance and mounting point alignment on your ESC before installation.
A small screwdriver or appropriately sized hex driver that matches the supplied screw is sufficient to secure the sink without modifying the ESC.
Run a controlled session and compare ESC temperature or cutoff behaviour versus your baseline. If readings drop or cutouts reduce, the sink is making a measurable difference.
