15T Delrin pinion for Mini Inferno

The DMIF015T Delrin 15T motor gear is an aftermarket pinion made for Kyosho Mini Inferno models. It replaces worn motor pinions and lets you make small gear-ratio changes to balance low-end acceleration and peak speed.

Delrin offers low friction and stable dimensions under typical RC loads, making this pinion suitable for common brushed and brushless motor setups found in Mini Inferno cars. When installing, verify correct gear mesh and axial alignment between motor and spur, tighten the set screw securely, and spin the drivetrain by hand to ensure there is no binding.

Use the gear for scheduled maintenance or incremental tuning: try nearby tooth counts to change acceleration versus top speed, add a thin shim to refine mesh if needed, and re-check after a short run. Treat this part as an RC-scale accessory for model use only.

Check that your motor shaft diameter and set screw position match the 15T pinion. The DMIF015T is shaped for Mini Inferno installations but confirm fit before final assembly.
Delrin gives low friction and consistent tooth form which helps reduce wear and keeps gear mesh stable under normal running conditions.
Set correct mesh, avoid overtightening the set screw onto the shaft, and run-in gently after fitting to verify there is no heat buildup or unusual noise.
