14-tooth Delrin pinion for Mini Inferno tuning

This single-piece Delrin motor pinion is produced as an aftermarket replacement for Kyosho Mini Inferno models and uses the 14-tooth count DMIF014T. It fits the motor output shaft on 1/10-scale Mini Inferno cars and gives a stable, repeatable tooth count for ratio and mesh adjustments without claiming specific speed gains.

Fitting is straightforward for those used to pinion swaps: access the motor or motor mount, slide the 14T Delrin pinion onto the motor shaft, set the axial position and mesh against the spur, then rotate by hand to confirm smooth engagement and correct backlash before final tightening. Reuse the original mounting hardware unless alternate fasteners are specified.

Delrin offers low friction and quieter meshing versus some metal pinions, and in many setups it reduces wear on the mating spur gear. Inspect the pinion teeth during routine maintenance and replace the part if you notice deformation, cracked teeth, or significant rounding.

The 14T Delrin pinion is specified for Mini Inferno applications; verify your motor shaft diameter and mounting method match the pinion before installation.
Position the motor so the pinion and spur have slight backlash, rotate the drivetrain by hand to check for binding, then tighten the motor mount and recheck under light load to confirm smooth engagement.
Check the pinion during routine drivetrain maintenance and after rough running; replace if you see tooth rounding, chips, or deformation to avoid spur gear damage.
