15T alloy pinion for Mini Inferno

This 15-tooth alloy motor gear is an aftermarket replacement for Kyosho Mini Inferno RC models and carries the model number MIF015T. It provides a robust metal option for the motor-to-spur interface where alloy gearing is preferred over stock parts.

Fitment and role: the part functions as the motor pinion, transferring torque from the motor shaft to the spur gear. Before fitting, verify your motor shaft diameter and set screw orientation, then mesh the pinion with the spur to achieve minimal backlash without binding. Proper mesh reduces drivetrain losses and limits premature wear on both pinion and spur.

Installation notes: removing the motor from the chassis can simplify alignment, apply a small amount of thread locker to the set screw for competition use, and rotate the drivetrain by hand after installation to confirm smooth engagement. This component is intended for RC model use only.

Check that your Mini Inferno uses a 15T pinion and that the motor shaft diameter matches the pinion bore. If both match, the MIF015T will perform the motor pinion role.
The item is supplied as a single 15T pinion. Confirm quantity on receipt before installation.
Start with a light paper test between pinion and spur, tighten the set screw, then rotate the drivetrain by hand to check for binding. Small adjustments prevent excess wear.
