Overview and intent

This one-way gear hub fits Kyosho FW05-R, FW05RR, V One R, V One RR Evo, V One RRR and V One RRR Evo chassis and is supplied as part KV-016. It is a direct replacement for the stock one-way hub and is meant to adjust engagement behaviour rather than alter primary gear ratios.

The hub maintains the original mounting points on the chassis and mates with the stock spur, differential and wheel hex layout used on the listed Kyosho platforms. Installation usually needs basic RC tools such as hex drivers and a small flat driver to remove wheel and hub screws, and it is good practice to check thread locking and bearing seating after fitting.

When used for setup the one-way hub changes how drive is transferred during acceleration and deceleration, influencing traction shifts and corner exit balance on carpet or asphalt club tracks. Use the part to experiment with diff and slipper settings to refine handling rather than as a primary power or strength upgrade.
