Overview of the Kyosho AXXE 2.0
Kyosho has reworked its entry-level buggy line with the AXXE 2.0. This 1/10 scale electric model balances cost, durability, and simple upkeep, making it a solid pick for newcomers and experienced RC drivers who want a dependable second rig. From the EZ series lineage, the AXXE 2.0 brings updated features and a modern silhouette.
What Changed in the AXXE 2.0
The 2.0 update brings practical refinements over the original AXXE. The chassis now supports a wider range of battery sizes, while the gearbox has been reshaped to reduce exposure to ground strikes. A stronger 6kg high-torque steering servo improves front-end control, and the waterproof ESC adds peace of mind when running on damp tracks.
Design and Handling Highlights
The AXXE 2.0 has more than cosmetic updates. New body colours and decals lean into rally styling, while the Readyset format delivers a prebuilt chassis and R/C system so you can get rolling quickly. You will only need a drive battery for the car, a transmitter battery, and a charger. The modular layout makes routine maintenance and setup adjustments straightforward.
Terrain Performance and Suspension
With front and rear double wishbone suspension and versatile tyres, the AXXE 2.0 performs well on both smooth pavements and rougher surfaces. The larger-diameter tyres and generous suspension travel help keep the buggy stable, and the prefilled oil shocks soak up bumps to maintain traction. A sealed gearbox helps keep dust and grit away from internal gears for longer service life.
