This MINI-Z RWD readyset sits on the MR-04 chassis and is supplied as a factory-assembled drive unit with a pre-painted Porsche 962 C Coupe body and a 2.4 GHz radio system included.
The Porsche 962 C evolved in the mid-1980s as a closed-cockpit development of earlier Group C prototypes, campaigned in the World Sportscar Championship and North American IMSA series where its aerodynamic bodywork and turbocharged flat-six engines were used in endurance competition.
Model details concentrate on the readyset format for display and running. The chassis arrives fully assembled; the body is pre-painted with period markings. Mechanical notes reference measured exterior dimensions and the wheel/tread offsets provided in the technical data. The set contains a 2.4 GHz transmitter and receiver, a selection of pinion gears and a pinion tool for gearing changes, plus spare nuts and a wheel wrench for basic maintenance. Operation requires AAA-size batteries for the chassis and transmitter.
