The Kyosho TF7 is a refined electric touring car platform built for serious RC racers. Evolving from the TF6 SP, this model enhances handling through chassis updates that prioritise roll balance and improved mechanical grip for high speed cornering.
Symmetry in component placement is central to the TF7's handling. Key parts such as the bulkhead screws and motor mount are secured to the main chassis to promote predictable roll behaviour. The battery and steering servo use floating mounts to reduce their effect on chassis dynamics, yielding steadier responses under load.
The main chassis thickness is reduced to 2.25mm and paired with a one-piece upper plate to boost torsional stiffness while improving mechanical grip. At the rear, lightweight resin bevel gears in the gear differential help the TF7 respond more quickly during acceleration.
Shorter shocks and arm lengths sharpen turn-in on grippy surfaces, and adjustable suspension holders allow precise setup changes. The revamped 2-belt 4WD system includes a larger pulley for extended belt life and an aluminium motor mount to reduce gear strain in competitive running.
Built for experienced drivers, the TF7 offers a platform that rewards careful setup with consistent on-track performance and a high level of adjustability for competitive events.
