The Kyosho CLW001 2-speed kit provides a compact transmission shift option for KC10-series RC models, enabling in-gear switching between a low first gear and a higher second gear using your transmitter's third channel.

This kit is intended as a drivetrain accessory for scale RC use only, offering a selectable low ratio for precise, low-speed crawling and a higher ratio for faster, less steep off-road running. The switching function is driven from a transmitter channel, so setup focuses on channel assignment and ensuring the shift linkage or actuator is compatible with the KC10 transmission layout.

When tuning, use first gear for tight, technical sections where slow, controlled torque is needed, and select second gear on open, gentler terrain to maintain momentum without over-revving the drivetrain. Verify shift travel and neutral positions on your transmitter before operation to prevent unintended engagement during runs.
