Remote DIG upgrade for KC10

The Kyosho CLW002 Dig Kit is an RC-scale transmission accessory that enables DIG on KC10 chassis models by using an available third channel from the transmitter. When engaged, the DIG function locks the rear drive while the front wheels remain powered, producing a much tighter turning pivot than the chassis' standard minimum turning radius.

This kit converts the transmission's built-in DIG mechanism so it can be switched on and off from the transmitter rather than by manual switches on the car. Common setups assign DIG to an auxiliary channel or a three-position switch so the driver can enable rear locking only when required, for example on hairpins or tight obstacles during a technical run.

Installation overview: the kit interfaces with the transmission DIG actuator and the radio system; it requires an unused transmitter channel and basic wiring to the vehicle's receiver or an onboard switch harness. Because wiring and fitment vary by build, follow the KC10 service manual and confirm whether your model already includes a DIG mechanism before fitting the kit.

In practice the CLW002 Dig Kit adds on-demand rear-drive locking to KC10 builds, helping drivers tighten line choice and reduce corrective steering through tight corners.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Engaging DIG locks the rear drive while the front axle stays powered, creating a tighter pivot point and reducing the chassis' effective turning radius for sharper cornering entries.
Use an unused auxiliary channel on your radio and map it to a switch or lever; the CLW002 responds to that channel to toggle the DIG mechanism on and off.
Basic wiring to the receiver or an existing switch harness is required and an open auxiliary channel on the transmitter; the kit itself does not add other drive components.
DIG is most beneficial for very tight corners, hairpins, and technical sections where a reduced turning radius helps maintain line and speed without large steering corrections.
