KC10 rear mount: shock stay and panhard bracket

This Kyosho CL005 Shock Stay & Panhard Rod Mount is an RC-scale replacement mounting bracket made for the KC10 chassis. It brings the rear shock stay and panhard rod mounting points together into one fitted piece, giving a clear anchor for rear suspension links and a repeatable alignment reference for chassis setup.

Fitment and role are direct: the bracket locates on the KC10 rear subframe mounting area and forms a structural mount for shock bottoms and the panhard rod. Once installed it influences rear suspension geometry and lateral axle position, so it is treated as a chassis tuning component to refine handling balance rather than as a raw power upgrade.

Installation notes: remove rear bodywork and follow normal chassis disassembly to reach the rear mounts, reuse original fasteners where suitable, and confirm alignment and free suspension movement after installation. Check link angles and pivot clearances when reassembling to avoid binding.

Maintenance and tuning advice: inspect the mounting faces for looseness or wear after heavy use, torque fasteners periodically, and use small changes to panhard rod placement and shock lower position to dial roll center and cornering response on practice runs.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Kyosho KC10 chassis and intended for KC10-based RC-scale models.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The CL005 consolidates the rear shock stay and panhard rod mounts into one bracket that bolts to the KC10 rear subframe, replacing separate mounting points and providing a single reference for link geometry.
No specialised tooling is required; standard hobby hex drivers and pliers are sufficient. Follow chassis disassembly steps and retain or reuse compatible fasteners.
Altering the panhard mount or shock lower position shifts rear roll centre and lateral axle alignment, which can be used to tune balance, turn-in, and mid-corner grip characteristics.
Regularly verify fastener torque, inspect mounting faces for wear, and ensure the rear suspension moves freely through its travel without binding.
