The Kyosho CLW005 AL Motor Mount is an RC-scale replacement part designed specifically for the KC10 chassis platform. Machined from aluminum for stable clamping and thermal properties, this mount locates the motor with tighter tolerances than many stock plastic parts, helping maintain gear mesh and alignment under load.

Intended use is limited to KC10-series models; do not assume cross-compatibility with other chassis or full-size vehicles. The mount plays a tuning role by providing a fixed, rigid surface for the motor to sit against, which can reduce movement that affects spur and pinion engagement during acceleration and braking in on-road or track-oriented setups.

Installation requires removal of the motor assembly and careful re-alignment of the pinion and spur gear to the correct mesh. Check for clearance around adjacent components such as the ESC and battery tray when fitting this aluminum mount. Regular inspection after initial runs is recommended to confirm fastener torque and alignment remain secure.
