This RC-scale front drive shaft and wheel axle set is designed specifically for the TAMIYA Hotshot family and is supplied as a matched pair (2 pcs). The kit replaces worn front drivetrain parts on Hotshot, Hotshot II, Super Hotshot and Bigwig models, helping restore correct axle alignment and reliable wheel engagement where original parts have fatigued.
The shafts transmit torque from the transmission to the front hubs while the axles provide the wheel mounting point and lateral support; together they restore proper front-drive function for routine running and basic setup adjustments.
During installation inspect hub clearance and axle seating. Minor trimming or adjustment of hub retaining hardware may be required for correct engagement; confirm freely rotating wheels and no binding before final assembly. The product is supplied as 2 pcs per set as indicated in the product title.
