The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E, widely known as the Tiger I, became a benchmark for heavy armour during World War II. Renowned for its robust construction and the KwK 36 L/56 88 mm main gun, the Tiger I delivered long range firepower and formidable frontal protection that shaped many frontline engagements.
Introduced into service in September 1942 near Leningrad, Tiger I units soon saw action across multiple fronts, from the Eastern Front to the Tunisia campaign in North Africa. This Italeri 1/35 kit recreates the early production Tiger I variant, giving modellers an accurate platform to explore its engineering and battlefield role.
