Micro middle-profile rubber tire with insert

Supplied as a matched pair, this micro-scale middle-profile rubber tire is cut for use on Hyper 7, MP7.5, MP9 and RC8 on-road cars. The mid-profile concentrates the contact patch and tunes sidewall response so you can refine traction and steering balance without altering wheel offset or hub geometry.

Fitting is straightforward on common on-road rims: place the foam insert into the tyre before seating it on the rim, seat the bead evenly and remove any excess glue from the tread. Light trimming and static balance may be needed to remove vibration after mount; use standard tyre glues and allow full cure before running.

From a setup point of view this tyre changes mid-corner bite and transient response. Expect differences in how load transfers through suspension and tyres, so adjust damping and toe increments and evaluate with short test runs between changes.
