Durable HUDY 294223 Steel Pinion for Reliable Drivetrains

The HUDY 294223 pinion is manufactured from hard steel to provide robust, dependable performance in RC cars. Its 23-tooth profile and MODUL 0.8 pitch deliver accurate power transfer to help keep drivetrain losses low and handling predictable.

Built for Smooth Power Delivery

Made for hobbyists who demand consistent throttle response, this pinion helps smooth acceleration and keeps speed stable under load. The hard steel construction resists wear, so it holds up well during repeated runs and hard use.

Compatible with Common Drivetrain Layouts

This pinion works with a variety of RC car setups that accept a MODUL 0.8 pitch, making it straightforward to fit during routine maintenance or as an upgrade. Its 23T count provides a balance between acceleration and top speed for many configurations.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Check your car's required pitch and shaft size first. If your model uses MODUL 0.8 and accepts a 23T pinion, the HUDY 294223 will be compatible with most standard 1/10 touring drivetrains.
Set the gear mesh with a thin film of grease on the spur, rotate the gears to seat them, then tighten the pinion and recheck mesh under a light load. Proper mesh prevents premature wear and noise.
Regularly inspect teeth for chips or wear, keep the mesh correct, and avoid prolonged overheating. Replacing the spur or adjusting mesh early can extend the life of the pinion.
