The HUDY 294028 aluminium ULTRA-LIGHT pinion is a compact replacement part for hobby electric models. CNC machining from 7075 T6 aluminium and a hard-coating treatment aim to deliver reduced rotating mass while preserving the strength needed for regular running.

Manufacture on a dedicated gear machine produces accurate tooth form and tight concentricity to lower vibration and smooth drivetrain operation. The tooth count is etched for quick ID and the pinion has fine internal threading to simplify mounting to compatible motor shafts.

As a tuning component, this lightweight pinion lets you alter gear ratios to affect acceleration and sustained motor load without adding excessive rotational inertia, helping you find repeatable setup results.
