This aluminium-bodied fan is designed for tight 1/12 scale chassis where space is limited and steady airflow to electronics is required. The two-hole side-mount arrangement lets you position the fan alongside ESCs, motors, or battery bays without intruding on suspension or drivetrain components.
Built with a CNC-machined aluminium housing and a brushless bearing motor, the unit is optimised for consistent running while keeping weight and volume low. The physical size is 30x25x10mm and the housing features laser-engraved HUDY marking for a long-lasting finish.
Wiring uses a 265mm connecting cable terminated with a BEC connector, plus internal soldering tabs for permanent installs. Both leads are insulated in black; the positive wire is identified by white stripes. Confirm polarity before soldering since the fan has no polarity protection and extended reverse connection can damage the motor.
For installation, align the side-mount 2-hole pattern with chassis tabs or a slim custom bracket, avoid contact with moving parts, and route the cable to prevent interference with suspension travel. Bench-test all electrical connections before final assembly.
A compact aluminium option to provide targeted cooling for electronics in small-scale RC projects where space and reliable airflow matter.
