Thin self-adhesive foam for R/C shells

This HUDY 107871-S self-adhesive foam strip is an RC-scale accessory supplied as a set of 2 pcs with the measured size 1x13x155mm and a nominal thickness of 1.0mm. The strip is intended for use on model car bodies and interior padding where a low-profile foam is needed to improve fit, reduce rattles, or protect painted surfaces.

The strip has broad compatibility and will work with most R/C body shells and inner panels that accept thin adhesive tape. No specific chassis or brand endorsements are claimed; check the fit against your body contours before committing to final placement.

To install, peel the protective liner, align the foam along the chosen edge or contact area, press the tape firmly to seat the adhesive, and trim to size with a hobby knife or scissors. Use light pressure to avoid shifting paint and allow the adhesive to set before reinstalling electronics or exposing the model to heavy use.

As a tuning aid this foam strip performs three practical roles: it cushions to reduce vibration transfer, fills small gaps at body mounting points to improve fit and airflow, and shields paint or decals from contact wear. At 1.0mm thickness it is best used for fine adjustments rather than bulk padding.

The pack contains 2 pieces. Each strip measures 1x13x155mm with a nominal thickness of 1.0mm.
You can make minor adjustments immediately after application, but the adhesive bonds more strongly over time so final positioning should be done before the adhesive sets.
Yes. The low-profile foam provides a soft contact surface to reduce wear on paint and decals when used as intended, though you should test in a small area if concerned about specific paint types.
