Precision Tuning for RC Suspension

The HUDY 107634 Arm Reamer is a must-have for RC hobbyists who want to adjust their 1/8 scale car suspension. This tool lets you accurately resize plastic mounting holes so arms move freely without excess slop or damage.

Tackle Binding Suspension

Suspension that binds can upset handling and lap times. Use the HUDY 107634 Arm Reamer to remove tight fits and restore consistent pivot action, helping the car track more predictably.

Built for Scale RC Work

With a 4.0mm tip and 120mm overall length, this hand-ground reamer matches typical 1/8 scale geometry. The finely cut micro scurfies on the tip resize holes cleanly, avoiding tears or stress to the plastic.

Step-by-Step Reaming Technique

  • Fit the 4.0mm tip into the suspension arm hole.
  • Apply light forward pressure while turning the tool.
  • Push until the tip reaches the handle, then reverse while rotating to withdraw it.

Following this routine produces a correctly sized, non-binding suspension arm ready for setup and run time.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The 4.0mm tip is optimised for 1/8 scale hole sizes, but it can be used on other models if the hole diameter matches. Always check fit on a spare part first.
Used with gentle pressure and consistent rotation, the reamer resizes without tearing the plastic. Avoid forcing the tool and follow the push then reverse removal method.
Wipe resin residue after use and store the reamer dry. Inspect the cutting micro scurfies periodically and replace the tip if it shows visible wear.
