Fine Tune Suspension Holes with HUDY 107633 Arm Reamer

The HUDY 107633 Arm Reamer is a must-have for RC hobbyists who want cleaner suspension movement. Built for 1/10 scale cars, this precision tool resizes plastic arm holes to remove binding while avoiding unwanted slop.

Built for Accurate Hole Resizing

Part of HUDY's profiTOOLS line, this reamer uses a 3.0mm tip and a 120mm shaft to reach deep or recessed suspension points. The pin surface is hand-ground with micro scurfies so it cuts smoothly and preserves the arm material instead of tearing it.

How to Use the Reamer

  • Step 1: Push the reamer tip gently into the suspension arm hole.
  • Step 2: Rotate the tool while applying light forward pressure to size the hole evenly.
  • Step 3: Stop when the handle meets the arm, then reverse and withdraw while turning.

Following this method will leave suspension arms running freely and reduce unwanted steering or suspension binding on the track.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The 3.0mm tip works well on common plastic arms found on many 1/10 models; for harder nylons or composite arms go slowly and check fit frequently to avoid over-cutting.
Wipe off plastic debris and store the tool dry. Occasional light brushing will keep the cutting surface clean and extend service life.
Yes, by precisely sizing the hole you can eliminate tight spots without introducing excess play, yielding smoother pivot action and more consistent handling.
