HUDY 106450 Silicone Oil Overview

For serious RC tuners who want predictable drivetrain behaviour, the HUDY 106450 Premium Silicone Oil provides 5000 cSt viscosity tailored for differential use. Its formulation helps maintain steady operation and smooth gear engagement during track sessions.

Why 5000 cSt Works for Differentials

The 5000 cSt rating offers a practical balance of resistance and flow, making it useful when tuning traction bias and cornering stability. That balance suits a wide range of RC models where fine control over wheel slip is required.

Colour-Coded Viscosities for Fast Selection

HUDY uses a clear colour-coded scheme so you can identify viscosity quickly at the bench. That makes swapping oils between shocks and diffs faster and reduces the chance of fitting the wrong fluid.

Compact Bottle with Flip Cap

Supplied in a 50ml bottle, the HUDY 106450 Premium Silicone Oil is easy to handle during maintenance. The flip cap limits spills and helps you apply measured amounts when servicing differentials.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The 5000 cSt grade is mainly used for tuning differentials where moderate lock and controlled slip are desired. It helps stabilise traction without becoming overly rigid.
Most shocks need thinner fluids for proper damping response, so 5000 cSt is generally too thick for standard shock use. Check your shock spec before using heavier oils.
Keep the bottle capped, stored upright and out of direct sunlight. A cool, dry spot will preserve viscosity and prevent contamination.
