3x14 drive pin replacement set

A compact set of four 3x14 replacement drive shaft pins, specified by HUDY as extra hard to resist deformation. These pins serve as direct spare components for RC drivetrains when worn pins or loose connections are affecting performance.

These pins secure shaft joints and transfer torque across couplings; the hard treatment helps reduce wear and the chance of elongated pin bores in demanding use. The 3x14 dimensions match shafts and couplers designed for a 3 mm diameter and 14 mm length pin.

Installation notes: confirm pin orientation and bore alignment before pressing pins in, swap pins in matched pairs where possible to preserve drivetrain balance, and inspect mating bores for signs of wear that could need reaming or part replacement.

Specifications

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Measure the pin bore diameter and depth on your shaft or coupler. A 3x14 pin requires a nominal 3 mm diameter bore and roughly 14 mm of depth; check for tapering or wear that could affect fit.
Use a press or a properly sized driver and apply steady force, keeping the pin square to the bore. Support the mating part to avoid bending and verify alignment throughout insertion.
Replace pins in matched pairs when you observe uneven wear or when one pin shows deformation; this helps maintain balance and consistent load transfer across the joint.
Visually inspect bores under good light and run a 3 mm gauge or the new pin through by hand to feel for ovaling. If bores show elongation, reaming or replacing the mating component may be required.
