Quick and Reliable Tyre Gluing

These large mounting bands from HUDY are made to simplify the tyre gluing workflow for dedicated RC hobbyists. The bands deliver even pressure along the tyre bead so the bead stays seated in the wheel glue channel, preventing air gaps and supporting a strong adhesive joint for higher speed running.

Fitment and Practical Details

The bands suit a wide selection of tyres including 1/10 short course, 1/10 truck, 1/10 truggy and 1/8 off-road and truggy tyres. Finished in purple, they add a practical and visual touch to your pit bag. Each pack contains four bands, enough for multiple tyre sets.

Can these bands be reused after gluing?

Yes. If you remove them carefully and they are not overstretched or damaged, the bands can be reused for further tyre gluing sessions.

How should I position the band on the wheel?

Seat the tyre on the rim, apply glue in the bead channel, then stretch the band evenly over the tyre so pressure is uniform around the bead while the glue cures.

Will these work on foam inserts and glued tyres?

They are intended to keep the bead seated during adhesive curing and work with most insert and glued tyre setups for 1/10 and 1/8 scales.
