Controlled break-in setup for SG crank engines

The HUDY 104140 Engine Break-In Bench is made to support efficient break-in of .12/.15/.21 RC engines with SG crankshafts, providing a stable test platform that reduces initial wear and helps improve service life and running consistency.

Sturdy construction for repeatable runs

Built from quality aluminum and spring steel, the HUDY Break-In Bench offers a rigid, vibration resistant base. The thick aluminum plate includes integrated clamps for solid attachment to a workbench, giving a dependable mount for tuning and repeated engine runs.

Partially assembled with essential parts

This unit arrives partly assembled so you can get running sooner. Included are pre-assembled throttle linkage, universal engine mounts, a 125cc fuel tank, prop spinner and all required fasteners. An electric drill is needed to turn the propeller and is not included.

Fitment and modification guidance

The bench is optimised for SG crankshaft engines and may need user modification to accept some RTR-type engines. Any alterations are the responsibility of the user, and HUDY does not accept liability for damage or injury from modified setups.

Will this fit RTR engines out of the box?

The bench is designed around SG crankshaft engines. Some RTR engines may require custom mounts or adapters to fit, which is a user modification and not covered by HUDY.

What tooling do I need to operate the bench?

You will need an electric drill to spin the propeller for break-in runs. Basic hand tools are also useful for securing mounts and clamps during setup.

How should I mount the bench for safe use?

Use the integrated clamps on the thick aluminum base to secure the bench to a solid work surface. Check all fasteners before each run and keep a safe distance while the propeller is turning.
